A Letter From Founder Glenn Seth
We made it to the finish line!
To our clients, friends, and partners, we’re so glad to have you by our side as this year draws to a close. Thank you to ALL OF YOU, whether you’ve been with us since Day 1 or you tried your first online session just a few days ago.
2020 has been a challenging year for everyone.
We have been attacked with uncertainty and fear by an invisible adversary. The landscape of the world we know has been completely changed by an insidious virus.
Businesses, more than ever, face uncertain times. My business, F3 Wellness Connections, is built on developing relationships and human contact with property managers and residents. However, all that changed with COVID.
All of our on-site services and events were disrupted and eventually cancelled. The spa I managed and the gym where I trained both shut down. We were concerned that we would lose all of our clients.
That’s when the Former Marine in me kicked in!
I knew it was time to “adapt and overcome” at all costs. Within a couple of weeks, my wife and I developed an online health and wellness program for our clients: A program that gave our clients access to great coaches and produced the best results, all from the comfort and safety of home.
There was a silver lining to all this — with gyms not being an option, clients were able to stay consistent and continue to see results at home using nothing but their body weight and kettlebells. Kettlebells literally became their “hand held gym”.
These simple devices, round balls of iron with handles, helped them maintain flexibility and mobility while increasing strength from the comfort of their own home. Personally, my kettlebells allowed me to stay on track with my own fitness and help others with theirs — and at the end of the day, that’s what I’m all about.
With COVID, health and wellness became even more important for not only the physical, but the mental health of our clients.
Now with everything being virtual, our reach is on a national level. We are able to engage clients in Chicago, LA, Boston, Miami, and Africa!
Quarantine has also allowed me to spend more time with my family and appreciate the simple things like nature walks and good health.
Finally, my family and I were able to have a one of a kind experience traveling to my wife's country in the Ivory Coast, Africa. I have been here for the past four months working remotely. We have been able to focus on healthy, unique experiences like nature hikes and organic foods, all while discovering a new culture and a new way of life. My daughter is able to teach her school friends about her other country during Virtual School Day. By improving our lifestyle, holistically, I have been able to improve my own wellbeing and give more back to my clients.
What we have learned as business owners is to have faith in ourselves and know that there is always hope. Having to stay strong through these demanding times has been the true test of our mettle. We’ve learned a very important lesson this year.
Good things can come from bad things.
I wish you all the best for 2021. Take care of yourself and your health. More than ever this is important for your wellbeing, especially as we enter 2021.
Happy New Year
Glenn
P.S. We adopted the kettlebell as our logo, not just because it is our favorite tool but because it is so versatile. Especially as we look to more time working and exercising from home, kettlebells are an all inclusive tool to keep you healthy and strong — and the perfect way to get a head start on those New Years Resolutions.
