Getting to Know the F3 Team: Introducing Co-Founder and Business Manager, Sarah Seth

As F3 Wellness Connections continues to grow, we want to maintain our personal connection between our team members and clients. So, we’re posting a series of getting-to-know-you style Q&As, to show you what’s behind our passion for wellness.

Next up: Meet Sarah Seth, co-founder of F3 and business manager. With two business degrees and a personal weight loss journey inspired by the discovery of kettlebell training, Sarah is a first-hand witness to the power of a wellness lifestyle and the impact it has made on her own life. Whether killing it in her workout, indulging in a Dutch delicacy with a cup of tea or dancing the night away in a D.C. hot spot, Sarah knows how to embrace life and make every day count.

So, how did F3’s business manager get where she is today and what drives her passion for personal wellness?

Where did you grow up?

I grew up in Côte d'Ivoire, West Africa, my country of origin. I moved to Paris when I was 17 to escape the civil war.

What is one of your favorite childhood memories?

Getting in trouble with my cousins and driving our mums crazy. I have a huge family and literally hundreds of cousins so family reunions were always a blast.

Tell us a few things you love to do in your time away from work.

I love traveling around the world and going on adventures with my husband and 4-year-old daughter. I prefer hot weather so beach vacations are our favorite, especially in Mexico.

Where is your favorite place to spend time around D.C.?

The Smithsonian museums. D.C. also has great restaurants like Zaytinya. I also like to go dancing once a month at Flash or 18th Street Lounge.

Why did you start F3 Wellness Connections [and why the transition this spring to offer more services]?

My experience with weight loss taught me that when it comes to healthy and happy living, there is no one-size-fits-all approach. There are many components to achieving and maintaining a healthy lifestyle: exercise, nutrition, stress reduction and fun. The objective of F3 wellness Connections is to help our clients achieve optimal well-being by providing them with a complete health experience and by designing programs that are specifically tailored to their lifestyle, personal goals, and needs.

Favorite food: Mediterranean food, and particularly Lebanese cuisine.

Coffee, tea, or neither? Tea.

Food “cheat food”:   I like to put a Stroopwafel (famous Dutch treat) on top of my cup of chamomile tea mug before going to bed. It’s my favorite part of the day!

Tell us a little about your family: My dad is a retired general of the Ivorian Air Force. He now is the president of our national airline company. My mum is an entrepreneur and she owns several businesses. They both live in Côte d'Ivoire. I have seven brothers and sisters that live around the world. My husband is my partner in life, in business and …. in crime, LOL. We have a beautiful and lively 4-year old daughter.

What attracted you to Kettlebell training? My husband Glenn introduced me to kettlebell training. I had never done any weight training before and I was automatically seduced by the efficiency and effectiveness of this type of workout.

If you could meet one historical figure, who would it be? Nelson Mandela.

Favorite show or movie series to binge watch: Genius: Picasso.

Favorite music to work out to: I like to get pumped to dance, trance, techno or house music when I work out.
