How Kettlebells & F3 Changed One Man’s Life

What is your name, age, and occupation?
Hi, I am Ben! I am 34 years old and a Senior Brand Manager.
How did you hear about kettlebell training?
I heard about kettlebell training first by seeing videos of it on YouTube and then through word of mouth.
How did you hear about F3 Wellness Connections?
My partner invited me to a group session, and from there, I connected with F3’s co-founder and master trainer, Glenn, to set up individual lessons.
Before you started kettlebell training, how would you describe your overall fitness, health, self-confidence, etc?
Before starting kettlebell training, I was relatively unmotivated to work out through a gym routine. I did not have the confidence to go to a gym to do anything other than cardio. I was always intimated by the gym and never had a supportive mentor to walk me through how to make the most of my workouts.
What was the most surprising thing you learned about kettlebell training?
I never realized how similar many of the kettlebell moves are to doing yoga with weights. There's a certain "flow state" that you get into when doing kettlebells that is almost meditative. But, it also works so many parts of your body in a very effective way.
How has kettlebell training changed your life?
Kettlebell training has increased my confidence, helped me tone and condition, and build endurance.
How has working with F3 changed your life?
Since I started working with F3, my joints no longer crack, I feel nimbler, and the pounds are coming off! It's also caused a crescendo effect of other lifestyle changes.
What are you most proud of / what has been the coolest moment you’ve had since starting kettlebell training?
I think the most incredible thing for me is when I watch competitions online of folks that are very experienced, I can say to myself ... "hey, I can do that!"
If someone you knew was thinking about starting kettlebell training, what would you say to them?
Dive in! You never know what you're capable of until you give it a shot.

I would like to say thanks to Glenn and the team for being patient, supportive, and motivating throughout the experience. Good trainers, in my opinion, focus on form, progress, and output. They measure you based on your personal goals and progress. Glenn has been with me since day one of my fitness journey and has always encouraged me to push myself into greatness. I appreciate his motivational tactics and ability to provide flexible training, real-time feedback, and corrections that help me build a sustainable long-term habit.
